After Harriet suffered a life threatening Seizure in April, this year, it became harder to write about her life and the problems she had to face on a daily basis. It seemed easier not to write about Harriet, but after a few months I realized that by not continuing to write the blogs, that Harriet would be forgotten.
Sunday afternoon started off relatively quiet, the sun was out and I was in the garden with Harriet and Elizabeth. Harriet was relaxing on her swing listening to bird sounds on the phone and seemed to be enjoying being out under the tree .
It had only been a few weeks since Harriet was seen by the Neurologist Dr. William Whitehouse at the Queens Medical Center in Nottingham - when we received an appointment from the Neurosurgeon, at the same hospital.
Harriet had been doing well over the last couple of months, she had managed to go to Ivy House School and seemed to of had a good Christmas.
January 2015 started off well and we thought that Harriet may stay out of hospital and be well throughout the mild winter months, but this was not the case.
